We begin the year in the book of Genesis, which literally means "beginning".  We will learn about the beginning of this world, the entrance of sin, God's preparation of His people and the commencement of His magnificent plan of redemption.  By the end of the month, we will have followed the Israelites' miraculous deliverance out of Egypt and into the wilderness.
