Friends, we are delighted to "welcome you home" to our website. We are excited to see it in action as it has been been in the planning and growing stages for quite a while. Our desire is have a site that can benefit our Church family, as well as scores of Christians around the world, as it changes on a daily basis. It certainly has been an honor to serve as the Pastor of the families at Friendship Baptist Church for nearly ten years. It is our pleasure to serve as an independant, fundamental Baptist Church in St. Pauls, Lumberton, Fayetteville, N.C. area, at the intersection of I-95 and Hwy. 20 between Raeford and Elizabethtown. Our heart-felt prayer is for people world-wide to acknowledge their standing as a sinner, repent and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal, living Savior. We encourage anyone who has a desire to know more about being born-again to contact us or visit with us soon. Also, we want to extend a warm, cordial invitation to all born-again believers of like precious faith to consider becoming actively involved in a KJV Bible-believing, Bible-preaching Church that cares about them and the lost, dying world.
Best described, the spiritual bend of liberal religion today is courting Churches to become anemic and ineffective as a witness for God's truth. This Church family at FBC has always found God's way of "Christ-centered faith" to be sufficient for personal, spiritual growth and eternal fruit. As we hold forth the Word of Truth (KJV) as the Lord's only building and battling book,we are thankful to continue to stand for strong preaching in love, sound doctrine and unwavering devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word.
Christians today must answer the call to earnestly contend for the faith once delivered to the saints. We must put on the whole armor of God and having done all, to stand, in the power of HIS might, against the wiles of the devil. The adversary truly is as a roaring lion walking about seeking whom he may devour. Time is of the essence. our souls or the utmost importance and Jesus is coming back soon. Let's join together to sound the battle cry and be found faithful when HE comes for His Bride; "Teaching the Word - Touching the World!" Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus!
